Outdoor Adventures At These San Diego Campgrounds
A camping trip as a child was always a memorable experience. A camping trip still holds a special kind of magic for adults as well. In San Diego, our weather is almost picture-perfect almost all year long. Adventures and outdoor adventures are made more enjoyable by that alone. Furthermore, the variety of locations of San Diego RV parks and campgrounds offers so many opportunities to explore the great outdoors.

Campgrounds in San Diego are definitely not the same as those in this camping adventure, but it is too fun not to mention it. In 2013, we surprised our grandchildren with a unique camping experience at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park named Roar and Snore while they were visiting us.
At this incredible animal park, guests enjoyed a 9 x 14-inch tent and sleeping pads. In addition to bunk cots, Vista tents offer a queen bed and two wooden cots. The zoo has glampers, too.
